8:30 am: departure from Saint-Malo for the Rance. Passage of locks at 9am. Sail down the Rance for a bucolic cruise.
12:30 Passage of the Boshphore between Port Sain-Jean and Port Saint-Hubert and lunch break at the little port of Mordreuc to wait for the flow and pass the Lyvet lock.
4:00 pm: pass through the lock and motorboat in freshwater to the little port of Dinan.
5:30pm arrival in Dinan, a magnificent medieval town accessible from the port via the pedestrian Rue du Jerzual, with its superb 15th-century half-timbered houses. Overnight in Dinan harbour
Depart Dinan at 8:00 am to pass the Chatelier lock at 9:00 am and sail down the Rance with the ebb tide. Extend into the Rance at the magnificent Mont-Marin anchorage or pass through the dam at 12:00 pm and take a lunch break at the Solidor anchorage, then... sail into the Bay of Saint-Malo before returning to the Bas-Sablons harbor by 6:00 pm.
